Fitzgerald Quote

While organizing a lesson plan for next year, I stumbled across a tremendous quote in The Great Gatsby that I've never acknowledged before:

"No amount of fire or freshness can challenge what a man will store up in his ghostly heart."

Pay particular attention to the precise use of 'ghostly' there...what a quote.
